In the Introduction, the editor presents the project and ambitions of the book and the logic of its content and the connections among the chapters. The editor identifies some of the transformations of jurisprudence in a globalized world, then distinguishes between three types of questions generated by this “global turn” in jurisprudence, namely, conceptual, normative, and meta-jurisprudential inquiries.
