Thanks to those of you who returned completed questionnaires. For those of you who have now remembered that yours is still under that pile of papers, it’s not too late and the following more significant results to date may stimulate you (particularly if you disagree with any of these):
A web-accessed PDF version of Maritime Studies would be very welcome.
Readers want more coverage of Australian maritime, and particularly shipping, developments.
Many respondents did not know about this monthly synopsis. Go to www.acmarst.com/pubs/digest.htm for more details and to subscribe!
Again, more coverage of Australian shipping developments. (Don’t forget that we can’t write policies! If the Government does not announce changes or, worse, doesn’t think that change is needed, there is nothing for us to write about. It is then for you to advise us – acmarst@bigpond.com – if you see changes occurring by stealth.)
About two-thirds of respondents would welcome more networking opportunities and would be prepared to help set them up. (Thank you; your names have been noted! We do, however, need all the help we can get, so more would be welcome.)
So, if you want to have your say, too, then complete and return your questionnaire. (If you have lost it, you would be very welcome to (sheepishly) e-mail acmarst@bigpond.com and ask for another copy.)
