CASINO CONTROL ACT 2006 - SECT 62

    (1)     A regulation may designate an area to be the casino for this Act.

    (2)     Subsection (1) has effect despite the following provisions of the Planning Act 2023

:

        (a)     section 52 (Effect of territory plan);

        (b)     section 64 (Public consultation—notice of interim effect etc);

        (c)     section 69 (Public availability notice—notice of interim effect etc).

    (3)     Except as provided in subsection (2), this Act does not authorise the doing of anything, or the approval of the doing of anything, that would be inconsistent with the territory plan
