VETERINARY PRACTICE ACT 2018 - SECT 142

    (1)     The Minister may exempt a veterinary practitioner from a provision of this Act if satisfied that it is in the public interest to do so.

    (2)     An exemption is a disallowable instrument.

Note     A disallowable instrument must be notified, and presented to the Legislative Assembly, under the Legislation Act

    (3)     An exemption must be made in accordance with the guidelines (if any) made under subsection (4).

    (4)     The Minister may make guidelines for the giving of exemptions under subsection (1).

    (5)     A guideline is a disallowable instrument.
