An Ordinance to amend the Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1965

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Canberra Theatre Trust (Amendment) Ordinance 1988.¹

Principal Ordinance

2. In this Ordinance, “Principal Ordinance” means the Canberra Theatre Trust Ordinance 1965.²

Interpretation

3. Section 3 of the Principal Ordinance is amended by omitting “described in the Schedule to this Ordinance and any buildings, structures and other improvements on that land” from the definition of “the Canberra Theatre Centre” and substituting “comprising Block 9, Section 19, Division of City, Canberra Central District and the buildings and other structures and improvements on that land”.

Repeal

4. The Schedule to the Principal Ordinance is repealed.
