An Ordinance to amend the Legal Practitioners Ordinance 1970

Short title

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Legal Practitioners (Amendment) Ordinance 1985.¹

Incorporation of Law Society

2. (1) Section 6 of the Legal Practitioners Ordinance 1970² is amended by omitting from sub-section (5) “Ordinance” (last occurring) and substituting “Part”.

(2) The amendment effected by sub-section (1) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 10 February 1972.
