ROAD TRANSPORT (SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATION 2000 (REPEALED) - REG 20

ARR r 221 (f)—using hazard warning lights on buses carrying children

    (1)     This section applies to a bus that is carrying children and is fitted with hazard warning lights in accordance with the href="http://www.legislation.act.gov.au/sl/2000-12" title="SL2000-12">Road Transport (Vehicle Registration) Regulation 2000

, schedule 1, but is not fitted with any other warning lights in accordance with that schedule.

    (2)     For the title="ARRs">Australian Road Rules

, rule 221 (f), if the driver of the bus stops the bus to drop off or pick up a child, the driver is permitted to operate the hazard warning lights.
