ROAD TRANSPORT (SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATION 2000 (REPEALED) - REG 71

    (1)     In this section:

"stopping or parking provision of this chapter"—see section 58 (1).

    (2)     A stopping or parking provision of this chapter does not apply to the driver of a police vehicle or emergency vehicle if, in the circumstances—

        (a)     the driver is taking reasonable care; and

        (b)     it is reasonable that the provision should not apply.

    (3)     A stopping or parking provision of this chapter does not apply to an authorised person who is driving a vehicle in the course of the person's duty as an authorised person if, in the circumstances—

        (a)     the person is taking reasonable care; and

        (b)     it is reasonable that the provision should not apply.
