ROAD TRANSPORT (SAFETY AND TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT) REGULATION 2000 (REPEALED) - REG 85B

Heavy vehicles to be parked away from residential land boundaries

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person parks a heavy vehicle on residential land; and

        (b)     any part of the vehicle when parked is—

              (i)     in front of the setback line of the front boundary of the land; or

              (ii)     less than 1.5m from any other boundary.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.

    (2)     In this section:

"setback", in relation to land—see the territory plan, part 13 (Definitions).
