AGRICULTURAL AND VETERINARY CHEMICALS (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1992 No. 262 of 1992 - SECT 51

51.(1) The Minister may, by written notice given to the NRA:

   (a)  approve the corporate plan; or

   (b)  if the Minister thinks that the interests of the administration of the
        Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1988 so require - request
        the NRA to revise the plan appropriately.

(2) If the Minister makes a request under paragraph (1)(b), the Minister is to
set out the reasons for the request in the notice.

(3) The NRA must consider a request for the revision of a corporate plan and
the reasons for the request, make such revision of the plan as it considers
appropriate and submit the revised plan to the Minister for approval.

(4) A corporate plan comes into force:

   (a)  at the beginning of the period to which the plan relates; or

   (b)  on the day on which the NRA receives written notice of the Minister's
        approval; whichever is the later.
