AGRICULTURAL AND VETERINARY CHEMICALS (ADMINISTRATION) ACT 1992 No. 262 of 1992 - SECT 71

71.(1) The Minister may, by signed writing, delegate to an officer of, or
person employed in, the Department all or any of:

   (a)  the powers conferred on the Minister under this Act or the
        Agricultural  and Veterinary Chemicals Act 1988 ; or

   (b)  the powers expressed to be conferred on the Minister under a law of a
        State relating to agricultural or veterinary chemicals.

(2) A delegate of the Minister is, in the exercise of the delegate's delegated
powers, subject to the Minister's directions.
