AUSTRALIAN COMMUNICATIONS AUTHORITY ACT 1997 No. 52 of 1997 - SECT 52

52 Consumer Consultative Forum

(1) The ACA must, by writing, establish an advisory committee, to be known as
the Consumer Consultative Forum, to assist the ACA in performing its functions
in relation to matters affecting consumers.

(2) The Consumer Consultative Forum consists of such persons as the ACA from
time to time appoints to the Forum.

(3) The ACA may give the Consumer Consultative Forum written directions as to:

   (a)  the way in which the Forum is to carry out its functions; and

   (b)  procedures to be followed in relation to meetings.

(4) The powers conferred by subsection (1) do not, by implication, limit the
powers conferred by subsection 51(1).
