AUSTRALIAN CAPITAL TERRITORY (SELF-GOVERNMENT) ACT 1988 No. 106 of 1988 - SECT 33

Application of Acts Interpretation Act 
33. Paragraph 46 (a) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 does not apply to:

   (a)  an enactment;

   (b)  a subordinate law; or

   (c)  an instrument required by this Act to be published in the Territory
        Gazette.
