AUSTRALIAN FEDERAL POLICE AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 121 of 1985 - SECT 5

5. Section 16 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting sub-section (2) and
substituting the following sub-section:

"(2) The Commissioner has all the powers of, or exercisable by, a Secretary
under the Public Service Act 1922 so far as those powers relate to the branch
of the Australian Public Service comprising the staff referred to in
sub-section (1) as if that branch were a separate Department of the Australian
Public Service.".
