Australian Industry Development Corporation Amendment Act 1983 No. 122 of 1983 - SECT 14

14. After section 23 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted in
Part III: Delegation by the Chief Executive

''23A. (1) The Chief Executive may, either generally or otherwise as provided
by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by him, delegate to an
officer of the Corporation all or any of his powers under this Act (except
this power of delegation).

''(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the
purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Chief Executive.

''(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Chief Executive.''.
