ABORIGINAL LAND GRANT (JERVIS BAY TERRITORY) ACT 1986 No. 164 of 1986 - SECT 52

52. (1) The Council shall, as soon as practicable after the end of each
financial year, prepare and furnish to the Minister financial statements in
respect of that year in such form as the Minister approves and a copy of the
report on those statements prepared in accordance with sub-section (2).

(2) Financial statements referred to in sub-section (1) shall be audited by a
person having prescribed qualifications and appointed by the Council for the
purpose, who shall report to the Council-

   (a)  whether the statements are based on proper accounts and records;

   (b)  whether the statements are in agreement with the accounts and records;
        and

   (c)  as to such other matters arising out of the statements as the person
        so appointed considers should be reported to the Council.
