ABORIGINAL LAND GRANT (JERVIS BAY TERRITORY) ACT 1986 No. 164 of 1986 - SECT 53

53. (1) The Governor-General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this
Act, prescribing matters-

   (a)  required or permitted by this Act to be prescribed; or

   (b)  necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or giving
        effect to this Act.

(2) The power of the Governor-General to make regulations for the purposes of
section 49 in relation to a place that forms part of Aboriginal Land shall be
exercised only on advice of the Executive Council, being advice that has taken
into consideration any representations made to the Minister by the Council or
by the executive committee in relation to public access to that place.
