AUSTRALIAN NUCLEAR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ORGANISATION ACT 1987 No. 3 of 1987 - SECT 11

11. (1) Where the Minister is satisfied that it is desirable in the public
interest to do so, the Minister may, by notice in writing to the Chairperson,
give directions to the Board with respect to the performance of the functions,
or the exercise of the powers, of the Organisation.

(2) The Board shall ensure that any directions given to it by the Minister
under sub-section (1) are complied with.
