AUSTRALIAN NUCLEAR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ORGANISATION ACT 1987 No. 3 of 1987 - SECT 45

45. (1) The Executive Director may, either generally or as otherwise provided
by the instrument of delegation, by writing signed by the Executive Director,
delegate to an officer or employee all or any of the powers of the
Executive Director under this Act other than this power of delegation.

(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the
purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Executive
Director.

(3) A delegate is, in the exercise of a power so delegated, subject to the
directions of the Executive Director.

(4) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Executive Director.
