- (1)
- A person is not excused from giving security compliance information under
section 109 on the ground that the information might tend to incriminate
the person or expose the person to a penalty.
- (2)
- However, if the person is a natural person:
- (a)
- the information; and
- (b)
- the giving of the information; and
- (c)
- any information, document or thing obtained as a direct or indirect
consequence of giving the information;
are not admissible in evidence against the person in a criminal proceeding, or
any other proceeding for the recovery of a penalty, other than a proceeding
under section 137.1 or 137.2 of the Criminal Code that relates to the
giving of the information.
