COMPANIES ACT 1981 No. 89 of 1981 - SECT 142

142. (1) The Commission may, on the application of a person who is required to
give a notice under this Division, in its discretion, extend, or further
extend, the period for giving the notice.

(2) An application for an extension under sub-section (1) may be made, and the
power of the Commission under that sub-section may be exercised,
notwithstanding that the period referred to in that sub-section has expired.
