CORPORATIONS LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1990 No. 110 of 1990 - SECT 16

16. (1) In this section, "Principal Act" means the Acts Interpretation Act
1901.*3*

(2) After section 40 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted in
Part IX: References to Corporations Law and ASC Law

"40A. In any Act, unless the contrary intention appears: `ASC Law' and `ASC
Regulations' have the meaning provided for by the Australian Securities 
Commission Act 1989 ; `Corporations Law' and `Corporations Regulations' have
the meaning provided for by the Corporations Act 1989.".
