CRIMES (INTERNATIONALLY PROTECTED PERSONS) ACT 1976 No. 8 of 1977 - SECT 9

Defence to prosecution.
9. It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against this Act if the
defendant proves that he did not know, and had no reason to suspect, that the
person in relation to whom, or in relation to whose premises, accommodation or
means of transport, the offence is alleged to have been committed was-

   (a)  a person referred to in sub-paragraph 1 (a) of article 1 of the
        Convention; or

   (b)  a representative or official of a state or an official or other agent
        of an international organization of an inter-governmental character or
        a member of the family of such a person forming part of his household.
