CHILDCARE REBATE ACT 1993 No. 112 of 1993 - SECT 56

56.(1) Upon receiving such an application, the Commission must:

   (a)  reconsider the decision; and

   (b)  affirm, vary or revoke the decision.

(2) If the Commission revokes a decision that was a decision refusing to do
something, revocation is taken to be a decision to do that thing.

(3) The Commission's decision on reconsideration of a decision has the effect
as if it had been made under the application under which the original decision
was made.

(4) The Commission must give to the applicant a notice stating its decision on
the reconsideration together with a statement of its reasons for its decision.
