CHILD SUPPORT ACT 1988 No. 3 of 1988 - SECT 111

Duties of payers
111. (1) The payer of an enforceable maintenance liability shall, within 14
days after each occasion on which the payer commences to be an employee of an
employer, notify the Registrar of the commencement by furnishing a duly
completed approved form to the Registrar.

(2) The payer of an enforceable maintenance liability shall, within 14 days
after the payer changes his or her name or address, notify the Registrar of
the change by furnishing a duly completed approved form to the Registrar.

(3) A person who contravenes subsection (1) or (2) is guilty of an offence
punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000.

(4) It is a defence to a prosecution for an offence against subsection (3) if
the person charged proves that the person notified the Registrar of the
happening of the relevant event as soon as reasonably practicable after the
happening of the event.
