CFM SALE ACT 1996 No. 58 of 1996 - SECT 2

(1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it
receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Items 3 and 4 of Schedule 1 are taken to have commenced immediately after
the commencement of Part 2 of the Commonwealth Funds  Management Limited Act
1990 .

(3) Subject to subsection (4), items 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 11 of Schedule 1
commence on a day or days to be fixed by Proclamation.

(4) If an item of Schedule 1 does not commence under subsection (3) within the
period of 6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal
Assent, it commences on the first day after the end of that period.

(5) If this Act commences before the commencement of the Legislative
Instruments Act 1996, item 1 of Schedule 2 commences immediately after the
commencement of the Legislative Instruments Act 1996.
