COMMUNITY SERVICES AND HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1988 No. 79 of 1988 - SECT 28

28. Section 62 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection
(2) the following subsection:

"(2A) A person shall not furnish, for the purposes of a requirement of a
regulation made by virtue of section 49AA or a requirement made under such a
regulation, information or a document that is false or misleading in a
material particular.
Penalty:

   (a)  in the case of a natural person-$10,000 or imprisonment for 5 years,
        or both; or

   (b)  in the case of a body corporate-$50,000.".
