CHILD SUPPORT LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 1) 1997 No. 84 of 1997 - SECT 2

(1) Subject to subsection (2), this Act commences on the 28th day after the
day on which it receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Items 21 to 25 (inclusive) of Schedule 1 commence on a day to be fixed by
Proclamation. However, if the items do not commence by Proclamation within the
period of 6 months beginning on the day on which this Act receives the Royal
Assent, they commence on the first day after the end of that period.
