COMMONWEALTH SERUM LABORATORIES AMENDMENT ACT 1980 No. 7 of 1980 - SECT 28

28. After section 44 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted in
Part III:



"44A. (1) The Minister may, either generally or as otherwise provided by the
instrument of delegation, by instrument in writing, delegate to an officer of
the Department that deals with matters arising under this Act any of his
powers under this Act, other than this power of delegation.



"(2) A power so delegated, when exercised by the delegate, shall, for the
purposes of this Act, be deemed to have been exercised by the Minister.



"(3) A delegation under this section does not prevent the exercise of a power
by the Minister.".
