CHILD SUPPORT LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1992 No. 151 of 1992 - SECT 25

25. After section 98L of the Principal Act the following section is inserted
in Part 6A: Pending application not to affect assessment

"98M. Subject to section 140 (Stay orders), the fact that an application is
pending under this Part in relation to a person does not, in the meantime,
interfere with, or affect, any administrative assessment made in relation to
the person, and any such assessment may be registered under the Child Support 
(Registration and Collection) Act 1988 , and amounts of child support and
other amounts recovered in relation to the assessment, as if no application
were pending.".
