DEFENCE FORCE (HOME LOANS ASSISTANCE) ACT 1990 No. 14 of 1991 - SECT 8

8. (1) Where a deceased person is survived by more than one widow or widower,
the widow or widower who was living with the person immediately before his or
her death is taken, for the purposes of Division 1 of Part 2 and paragraph 29
(h), to be the person's sole surviving widow or widower.

(2) Where, immediately before the death of a person, the person was
temporarily living apart from his or her spouse, the person is taken, for the
purposes of this section, to have been living with his or her spouse at that
time.
