DEFENCE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1987 No. 65 of 1987 - SECT 13

13. (1) Section 17 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting in
subparagraph (2) (c) (ii) "to Australia" after "transport," (last occurring).

(2) Section 17 of the Principal Act is amended:

   (a)  by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "or" (last occurring); and

   (b)  by adding at the end of subsection (2) the following word and
        paragraph:

"; or (d) in the case of an officer of the Regular Army Emergency Reserve or
the Australian Army Reserve - it is tendered during a period for which the
part of the force to which the officer belongs is called out for continuous
full time service.".
