DEFENCE SERVICE HOMES AMENDMENT ACT 1978 No. 137 of 1978 - SECT 14

14. Section 40 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from paragraph (a) of sub-section (3) ''and''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end of sub-section (3) the following word and
        paragraph:

''and (c) a payment by it that it is not legally required to make but that is
of a kind that would be made by a person carrying on the business of insurance
in accordance with sound commercial principles.''.
