FISHERIES ADMINISTRATION ACT 1991 No. 161 of 1991 - SECT 60

60. (1) A management advisory committee consists of the following members:

   (a)  the Chairperson:

   (b)  the officer of the Authority who is responsible to the Authority for
        the management of the fishery in relation to which the committee has
        been established;

   (c)  such number of other members (not exceeding 7) as the Authority
        determines from time to time after consultation with the industry, the
        States and Territories and persons engaged in research who, in the
        opinion of the Authority, have an interest in matters in relation to
        which the committee is established.

(2) The performance of the functions, and the exercise of the powers, of a
management advisory committee are not affected by reason only of vacancies in
the membership of the committee.
