FOREIGN TAKEOVERS AMENDMENT ACT 1989 No. 14 of 1989 - SECT 24

24. Section 30 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting subsection (4) and
substituting the following subsection:

"(4) A person who is convicted of an offence against this section is
punishable by:

   (a)  if the person is a natural person - a fine not exceeding $50,000 or
        imprisonment for a period not exceeding 2 years, or both; or

   (b)  if the person is a corporation - a fine not exceeding $250,000.".
