HEALTH INSURANCE ACT 1973 No. 42 of 1974 - SECT 30

30. (1) Australia may enter into an agreement with a State for the provision
of hospital services by the State to eligible persons.

(2) An agreement referred to in sub-section (1) shall be substantially in
accordance with the Heads of Agreement specified in Schedule 2 but may include
provisions with respect to other matters.

(3) An agreement under this section shall not operate with respect to a period
before a date to be fixed by Proclamation for the purposes of this section.
