Health Legislation Amendment Act 1984 No. 135 of 1984 - SECT 18

18. Section 40AD of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after
sub-section (1A) the following sub-section:

"(1AA) For the purposes of sub-section (1A), a qualified nursing home patient
or a Repatriation nursing home patient shall be taken to have occupied a bed
in a nursing home on each day on which the patient was absent from the nursing
home pursuant to an agreement made under sub-section 4AA (2).".
