HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1985 No. 167 of 1985 - SECT 12

12. Section 21 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is
substituted: Directions by Minister

"21. (1) The Minister may, after consulting with the Commission, give a
direction in writing to the Commission as to the performance of its functions
or the exercise of its powers, and the Commission shall comply with the
direction.

"(2) The Minister shall, within 21 days after giving a direction under
sub-section (1), cause to be published in the Gazette a notice stating the
fact that a direction was given and, unless the Minister is satisfied that
publication of the terms of the direction would disclose confidential
commercial information, setting out the terms of the direction.".
