HEALTH LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT (No. 2) 1985 No. 167 of 1985 - SECT 20

20. Section 38 of the Principal Act is amended -

   (a)  by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) "or";

   (b)  by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) "in pursuance of a request
made to it in writing by the Minister for Foreign Affairs," and
substituting ", being operations in respect of which the Minister has
given written approval; or";

   (c)  by inserting after paragraph (1) (b) the following paragraph:

"(c) carries on operations in accordance with a direction of the
Minister given under section 21,";

   (d)  by omitting from paragraph (2) (a) "other than a product to which
paragraph 19 (1) (a) applies"; and

   (e)  by omitting from paragraph (2) (b) "the product becomes a product
to which paragraph 19 (1) (a) applies and".
