ICSID IMPLEMENTATION ACT 1990 No. 107 of 1990 - SECT 2

2. (1) Part 1 commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal
Assent.

(2) The remaining provisions of this Act commence on a day to be fixed by
Proclamation, being a day not earlier than the day on which the Convention on
the Settlement of Investment Disputes between States and Nationals of Other
States, signed by Australia on 24 March 1975, enters into force for Australia.

(3) If the remaining provisions of this Act do not commence under subsection
(2) within the period of 6 months beginning on the day on which the Convention
referred to in subsection (2) enters into force for Australia, they commence
on the first day after the end of that period.
