INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS AMENDMENT ACT 1994 No. 46 of 1994 - SECT 4

4. After section 15 of the Principal Act the following section is inserted:

Appointment of a Judge as President not to affect tenure etc.

"15A.(1) The appointment of a Judge of a court created by the Parliament as
the President, or service by such a Judge as President, does not affect:

   (a)  the Judge's tenure of office as a Judge; or

   (b)  the Judge's rank, title, status, precedence, salary, annual or other
        allowances or other rights or privileges as the holder of his or her
        office as a Judge.

"(2) For all purposes, the Judge's service as the President is taken to be
service as a Judge.".
