LAYING CHICKEN LEVY ACT 1988 No. 16 of 1988 - SECT 9

9. (1) The Governor-General may make regulations for the purposes of section 
7. 

(2) Regulations shall not be made prescribing a rate applicable to chickens
hatched after a particular time unless the Australian Council of Egg Producers
has made a recommendation to the Minister with respect to the rate that should
be applicable to chickens hatched after that time.

(3) Regulations shall not be made prescribing a rate that is higher than the
rate so recommended.
