MURRAY-DARLING BASIN ACT 1993 No. 38, 1993 - SECT 3

3. (1) In this Act, unless the contrary intention appears:

"Agreement" means the agreement a copy of which is set out in the Schedule;

"Commission" means the Murray-Darling Basin Commission;

"Commonwealth member" means a Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner appointed
under section 6;

"State" means any of the States of the Commonwealth;

"works" means works constructed under a former Agreement or constructed, or to
be constructed, under the Agreement.

(2) Words used in this Act have the same respective meanings as in the
Agreement.
