MOOMBA-SYDNEY PIPELINE SYSTEM SALE ACT 1994 No. 70, 1994 - SECT 69

69. (1) For the purposes of this Part, a person is taken to have engaged or to
engage in conduct for a particular purpose or a particular reason if:

   (a)  the person engaged, or engages, in the conduct for purposes including
        that purpose or for reasons including that reason; and

   (b)  that purpose or reason was or is a substantial purpose or reason for
        engaging in the conduct.

(2) Without limiting the manner in which the purpose of a person may be
established for the purposes of subsection (1), the person may be taken to
have engaged in conduct for a purpose referred to in subsection (1) even
though, after all the evidence has been considered, the existence of that
purpose is ascertainable only by inference from the conduct of the person or
from other relevant circumstances.
