NATIONAL OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMISSION ACT 1985 No. 35, 1985 - SECT 26

Working parties
26. (1) A committee of the Commission may, with the approval of the
Commission, constitute such sub-committees, to be known as working parties, as
it thinks necessary for the purpose of this Act.

(2) A working party may be constituted wholly by members of the committee or
partly by members of the committee and partly by other persons.

(3) Where a committee constitutes a working party, the committee may determine
-

   (a)  the manner in which the working party is to perform its functions; and

   (b)  the procedure to be followed at or in relation to meetings of the
working party, including matters with respect to -

        (i)    the convening of meetings of the working party;

        (ii)   the number of members of the working party that constitutes a
quorum;

        (iii)  the selection of a member of the working party to preside at
meetings of the working party at which the chairperson of the
working party is not present; and

        (iv)   the manner in which questions arising at a meeting of the
working party are to be decided.

(4) A working party shall keep minutes of its proceedings.
