PUBLIC SERVICE AND STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 166, 1985 - SECT 5

5. Section 9 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (3)
the following sub-section:

"(3A) For the purposes of Division 1A of Part III of the Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1904 -

   (a)  the President of the Senate shall be taken to be the Minister
        administering the Department of the Senate;

   (b)  the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall be taken to be the
        Minister administering the Department of the House of Representatives;
        and

   (c)  the President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of
        Representatives shall be taken jointly to be the Minister
        administering the Department of the Parliamentary Library, the
        Department of the Parliamentary Reporting Staff and the Joint House
        Department.".
