RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1992 No. 174, 1992 - SECT 76

Period of suspension
76.(1) Subject to subsection (2), the suspension of the spectrum licence,
unless it is sooner revoked, ceases:

   (a)  if, within 28 days after the suspension, proceedings for an offence
        against this Act are instituted against the licensee, or against a
        person authorised by the licensee to operate a
        radiocommunications device under the licence, and he or she is
        convicted of the offence - on the expiration of 14 days after the date
        of the conviction; or

   (b)  if such proceedings are instituted within 28 days after the suspension
        and he or she is not convicted of the offence - on the completion of
        the proceedings; or

   (c)  in any other case - on the expiration of 28 days after the suspension.

(2) If:

   (a)  the notice of suspension specifies a day as the day on which the
        suspension of the spectrum licence ceases; and

   (b)  that day occurs before the day fixed under subsection (1); the
        suspension of the licence, unless it is sooner revoked, ceases on the
        day so specified.

(3) In subsection (1):

"proceedings" does not include proceedings by way of appeal or review.
