SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS (CONSEQUENTIAL AMENDMENTS) ACT 1984 No. 18, 1984 - SECT 10

10. Section 37 of the Principal Act is amended -
(a) by omitting from sub-section (1) the definition of "prescribed company"
and substituting the following definition:

"'prescribed company' means a company that carries on, or proposes to carry
on, a prescribed business;";

   (b)  by omitting paragraphs (2) (a) and (b); and

   (c)  by omitting sub-section (5) and substituting the following
        sub-section:

"(5) Where -

   (a)  the Commission is a party to an agreement or arrangement
with a prescribed company; and

   (b)  the prescribed company ceases to be a prescribed company, the Minister
        may give to the Commission such directions as he considers appropriate
        with respect to the termination of the agreement or arrangement
        between the Commission and the company.".
