SEX DISCRIMINATION ACT 1984 No. 4, 1984 - SECT 36

36. (1) Nothing in Division 1 or 2 affects-

   (a)  a provision of a deed, will or other document, whether made before or
        after the commencement of this Act, that confers charitable benefits
        or enables charitable benefits to be conferred on persons of a class
        identified by reference to any one or more of the grounds of
        discrimination referred to in this Act; or

   (b)  an act that is done in order to give effect to such a provision.

(2) In this section-

''Australia'' includes the external Territories;

''charitable benefits'' means benefits for purposes that are exclusively
charitable according to the law in force in any part of Australia.
