STATES GRANTS (TECHNICAL AND FURTHER EDUCATION) AMENDMENT ACT 1976 No. 17, 1976 - SECT 3

3. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended-

(a) by omitting from the definition of ''period to which this Act applies'' in
sub-section (1) the figures and word ''30 June 1976'' and substituting the
figures and word ''31 December 1976'';

(b) by adding at the end of the definition of ''year'' in sub-section (1) the
words '', and includes the period of 6 months commencing on 1 July 1976'';

(c) by adding at the end of the definition of ''year to which this Act
applies'' in sub-section (1) the words ''or the period of 6 months commencing
on 1 July 1976''; and

(d) by omitting from sub-section (2) the word ''financial''.
